Raw Nutrition to Launch NEW Protein Bar in 4 Flavors
Raw Nutrition is no stranger to the protein bar space, but this upcoming release already feels very different from their first bar iteration. Where the original leaned more functional and straightforward, this new bar is clearly aiming for something else entirely, a true dessert-style, candy bar–inspired experience.
From what has been shared so far, Raw is positioning this as a decadent, enrobed protein bar, likely featuring a chocolate-coated exterior with a soft, cookie-esque center. Texture is being described as candy bar–like, which immediately puts it in a different category than most high-protein bars that prioritize macros at the expense of mouthfeel.
The rollout timing matters here too. These bars are expected to launch early next month, with availability for taste testing and purchase at the Arnold Sports Expo. That alone tells you Raw is confident in the product. Brands do not put unreleased bars in front of thousands of lifters unless they believe flavor and texture can hold up under real scrutiny.
Knowing Raw, the focus will not just be indulgence. Expect intentional ingredient selection alongside the flavor push. This feels like a bar designed to sit at the intersection of performance nutrition and legitimate dessert satisfaction.

What to Expect From Each
While full ingredient panels have not been released yet, we do know the four flavors planned for launch, along with their general macro profiles. Each flavor appears to be tailored to a slightly different dessert craving, without straying too far from Raw’s performance roots.
Double Fudge Brownie
Protein: 20g (Added Sugar: 1g)
Expectation: Rich chocolate, dense brownie-style flavor, likely the most classic candy bar profile of the lineup. This looks like the safe bet for chocolate lovers who want something indulgent without heavy sugar.
Peanut Butter Fudge
Protein: 21g (Added Sugar: 2g)
Expectation: Creamy peanut butter layered with chocolate, probably softer and more filling. Peanut butter tends to mask protein well, so this could end up being one of the smoothest bars in the lineup.
Salted Caramel Pretzel
Protein: 18g (Added Sugar: 1g)
Expectation: Sweet and salty contrast with added texture from pretzel inclusions. This is the flavor that feels the most “candy bar inspired” and will likely live or die by how well the texture comes together.
Dark Chocolate Cookie Butter
Protein: 21g (Added Sugar: 5g)
Expectation: The most dessert-forward option of the four. Cookie butter brings richness and sweetness, and this one clearly leans into indulgence more than macro perfection.

"The one you have all been waiting for and less than 4 weeks out …..Raw Nutrition Protein Bar (20g Protein and ONLY 2g sugar)"
Brian Ikalina (Raw team)
Where to Grab it💰
The NEW Raw Protein bar will be available for purchase around early March. You will be able to find it on some retailers like the Vitamin Shoppe as well as on the Raw nutrition website.
Final Thoughts
We have not had these bars yet, and that matters. Texture, mouthfeel, and aftertaste can only be judged once you actually eat the product. That said, first impressions are strong.
Between the packaging, the flavor selection, and the way Raw is describing the experience, this feels like a serious upgrade from their first bar. It looks intentional, premium, and built to compete with the top dessert-style protein bars on the market, not just sit next to them.
We will be grabbing these at the Arnold for a proper taste test and full breakdown once they drop. But judging purely off early visuals, macro layout, and Raw’s track record, we could be in for a real treat.
If these eat the way they look, Raw may have just found their lane in the protein bar space.
