The David Bar Has Arrived
The David Bar has been making serious waves in the supplement world, and deservedly so. Launching earlier this October with an unbeatable macro profile, each bar packs a hefty 28 grams of protein and just 150 calories. That’s right — almost 75% of the David bar’s calories come directly from protein, which beats out most protein powders and has never been seen before. The David Bar's lineup includes four flavors to choose from: Blueberry Pie, Cake Batter, Fudge Brownie, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Each flavor packs crunchy inclusions to spice up the texture a little bit. Now, while the macros are unbeatable, the flavor and texture don’t exactly rival a dessert or other top-tasting protein bars, in my opinion. They’re a bit gritty, similar to a Quest Bar, but improved in every way. Still, the taste isn’t bad, especially when you consider the protein-to-calorie ratio.
Believe it or not, The David Bar owes much of its buzz to TikTok. Early leaks in October teased its impressive macros, sparking some serious hype before launch. In a savvy marketing move, the company chose to sell the bar on TikTok Shop—and the results are just absurd. In their first month, they’ve sold over 13,769 units, raking in a massive $363,809 in revenue just from TikTok. Talk about a helluva debut!
When it comes to macros, The David Bar is undefeated. While I myself am not the biggest fan of the flavor or texture, the numbers clearly state that others are. For those prioritizing high protein over flavor, The David Bar is undoubtedly a staple. It’s a unique, low-calorie option that packs a serious protein punch.
