Overview

What is NooLVL? NooLVL is a combination of bonded arginine silicate with added inositol that poses a plethora of cognitive benefits. The benefits of NooLVL are extensive, and it often finds itself in many products targeted towards focus or gaming. You may of heard of bonded arginine silicate before, as it is better known as one of Nutrition 21's other patented ingredients, Nitrosigine. Nitrosigine itself is a highly popular ingredient used to enhance nitric oxide levels and ultimately, improve blood flow throughout the entire body. NooLVL is essentially Nitrosigine, but with an added dose of inositol. This addition of inositol poses many nootropic benefits.

In order to understand NooLVL, it's important to first understand what arginine is. Arginine is an amino acid that helps to increase nitric oxide levels, which promotes blood flow. The problem with pure arginine supplementation is that arginine itself is not very bioavailable. That's where NooLVL comes in. This unique combination of arginine paired with silicon significantly increases the bioavailability of arginine, meaning that more arginine is available for use by the body. 

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study conducted in 2019 using healthy men and women who spent five or more hours playing video games each week, it showed that supplementation with 1,600mg NooLVL increased energy, selective attention, focus, accuracy, selective attention, and sped up reaction time. What's interesting about this finding is that these effects take place fast; in approximately fifteen minutes!

NooLVL is a newer ingredient that is continuing to find itself in more and more products. Apollon and Ghost both include this ingredient in their gaming formulas, and V1 Nutra utilizes its blood flow and focus properties in both their 4.0 and Ultimate formulas.
