What is AmentoPump®? AmentoPump® is a plant based extract derived from Selaginella tamariscina typically used in sports nutrition to enhance blood flow and aid in the breakdown of fat for fuel. The benefits of AmentoPump® are attributed to its rich amentoflavone content, which have extensive research supporting their multifunctional biological properties. AmentoPump® is classified as a PDE inhibitor, which expands blood vessels through a process known as vasodilation. AmentoPump® also blocks the metabolism of two chemical messengers involved in vasodilation; cAMP and cGMP, which further promotes blood flow.

AmentoPump® improves fat loss by blocking PDE and indirectly increasing cAMP levels. This increase in cAMP promotes lipolysis; the breakdown of stored fat. For an additional benefit, AmentoPump® also prevents the synthesis of fat.
